Bill Hennesey

Founder & CEO

Bill Hennesey founded Agnostick on a simple belief: the people who served their country are the same people who should be building the technology that serves veterans.

Bill is a combat veteran and Bronze Star recipient. That service shaped how he leads. It also shapes what Agnostick delivers.

Before founding Agnostick, Bill built his career as a senior technology executive, leading operations, driving revenue growth, and winning new business across complex organizations. He has spent his career at the intersection of data, digital transformation, and emerging technology, giving him a forward-looking view of where health IT and AI are headed and what agencies need to get there.

Bill leads with a servant mindset. He is deeply involved in the veteran community, and that same commitment shows up inside Agnostick, where every contract the company wins includes a commitment to employing a veteran or military spouse. For Bill, mission and business are not separate goals. They are the same goal.

He founded Agnostick to build a company that reflects both halves of his story: the discipline and honor of military service, and the drive and expertise of a technology leader who knows how to get things done.

Sonny Gupta

Chief Awesome Officer

Sonny Gupta built his career on a simple idea: a career should be more than a paycheck.

Sonny brings over 20 years of experience in business development, talent acquisition, and client relationship management in the information technology field. He is a founding partner of Daybreak IT Solutions since 2010. Under his leadership, Daybreak grew into a firm recognized twice on the Inc 5000 list of fastest growing private companies, along with multiple recognitions among Richmond's fastest growing firms.

Sonny built that growth on a simple belief: the traditional approach to matching people with work is impersonal and outdated. He brought empathy and genuine relationship building to an industry that too often reduces people to numbers, and that approach became the foundation of his success.

That same philosophy drives Sonny's role at Agnostick. He brings deep expertise in business development and workforce solutions, along with the relationships and infrastructure to connect exceptional talent with meaningful work. He has a particular passion for helping veterans and military spouses find careers that match their skills and ambitions, a passion that lives at the center of Agnostick's mission.

Sonny is a proud Hokie Alum. He leads with the same empathy and personal investment at Agnostick that built his reputation in the industry: understanding what people and organizations actually need, then delivering it.
